Dancers stare wide-eyed at me all the time when I tell them how I live like a local in a city for 3 weeks - 3 months at a time and simply dance! This way, the classes make an impact on my technique and style and I also get the wonderful privilege to get to know the people and culture of the city.
Their glazed eyes are vividly envisioning their own future dream DanceVacay... but eventually their eyes lamentably return to the present and their shoulders drop defeatedly.
And each and every time I stare back at them and think: "why are you holding yourself back?"
If the pandemic has taught us anything it's... "don't wait."
